Mungai Eve and Director Trevor breakup take another turn
There have been rumors circulating that two successful YouTubers, Mungai Eve and Director Trevor, have ended their relationship. This news came as a shock to many, as their YouTube channel has over 800,000 views. Initially, people thought that their social media behavior – unfollowing each other on Instagram – was just a publicity stunt.
However, things became more serious on February 19, 2024, when Trevor changed the YouTube channel name from Mungai Eve to Kenya Online Media. He also made it clear that Mungai Eve was no longer required to be part of the channel.
As a result, we won’t be seeing Eve Mungai working with Director Trevor anymore. Some time ago, presenter Andrew Kibe covered their story and predicted that their relationship would not last. Trevor and Mungai Eve responded by attacking him, but unfortunately, Kibe’s prediction has come true.
Recently, Trevor attended events alone, sparking speculations that the couple was having relationship issues. During an interview with another famous YouTuber, Ali, Trevor claimed that if he and Mungai Eve ever separated, he would leave the YouTube channel to her. He also said that he could start a new channel and gain the same followers in no time.

Reason Why Trevor Broke Up with Mungai Eve
Trevor has made it clear that he is no longer in a relationship with Mungai Eve. This came after he changed the name of Mungai Eve’s YouTube channel to Kenya Online Media. According to Trevor, the two broke up in February 2023. Although they have been working together, Trevor revealed that they no longer live together. Director Trevor moved out of the house they bought together in Kileleshwa, and as of now, Eve Mungai lives alone in the house. Trevor currently resides in an Airbnb, one of their properties.
Director Trevor also added that Mungai Eve was the one who decided that she no longer wanted to work with him, which prompted Trevor to take ownership of his social media, including a YouTube channel with over 700k subscribers. Trevor also took control of Mungai Eve Media’s Facebook page and Insta Fame.
